Members and roles

Invite people

Owners and admins can invite people to manage stock together from the Members page.

• Invite by email: Open Add Member, enter the person’s email address and choose a role (member or admin), then press Invite. They will receive an invitation email. You can also copy the link shown immediately after creation and share it directly.
• Invite by QR code or join link: Share the QR code or join link on the Members page. The same link can be used by several people, so you can post it at work or share it in your team chat. People who join this way receive the member role.

When the person opens the link, signs in, and requests to join, their request appears under Join requests on the Members page. Once an owner or admin reviews and approves the request, that person can access the team’s stock.

A team must always have at least one owner. Tana will reject changes that would result in 0 owners.

Member profiles

Each member has a profile showing when they joined and their recent activity. This is the quickest way to see who moved something without looking through the whole team’s history.

Remove a member

Removing a member immediately revokes their access to that team. Their past activity remains. The record of who did what does not change when someone leaves; it simply stops linking to their profile.
