Inventory management with Apple Intelligence
What it can answer
Section titled “What it can answer”Ask what is running low, where an item is kept, how much you have, or for a summary by storage. Tana’s agent reads the team’s items, storages and locations, looking up further information through the same read-only calls the app uses. Apple Intelligence generates answers on your device. The conversation is not sent to a Tana server, and the agent does not change inventory.
Use Chat
Section titled “Use Chat”Requires iOS or iPadOS 26 or later and an Apple Intelligence device. Enable Apple Intelligence in Settings. The screen explains when the model is still downloading. Answers use the UI language when the model supports it; otherwise a notice explains the English fallback. Check Apple’s guide for available devices and languages.
On iPhone, Chat replaces the Locations tab because the bar supports five tabs including Search. Open Locations from its home card. On iPad, open Chat from the sidebar.
Long-press a bubble to copy. Tap outside the composer to dismiss the keyboard. Select New chat to start over. The agent can be wrong; check the item before acting.
